Jin Shin Jyutsu in Integrative Medicine
COMING SOON: Video of Jin Shin Jyutsu Acupressure and Integrative Medicine, an online Grand Rounds presented to the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine and Health.
Jin Shin Jyutsu is a safe and effective complement to medical protocols. Hands-on sessions from a trained professional, a family member, and/or use of self-care offer support when medical intervention is needed.

Patients utilizing JSJ frequently experience:
- reduction in anxiety and pain
- increased energy, deep relaxation and a sense of well-being
- reduction of secondary effects from medications
- quicker than expected recovery from surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy infusions
JSJ is offered in nationally recognized medical centers as a catalyst to support physical and emotional health.
- Since 1993 JSJ has been a cornerstone of Integrative Care at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey. The hospital sponsors JSJ classes for staff and patients. Thousands of JSJ hands-on sessions have been provided for inpatients in Emergency, Cardiac, Oncology and most other units. All cardiac patients are offered continuing sessions after discharge and opportunities to learn JSJ self-care for stress reduction. The JSJ Training and Certification Program is a principal program of the Learning Center at the Chambers Center for Well-Being (Atlantic Health System's Integrative Medical Center at Morristown Hospital).
- UC San Diego Center for Integrative Medicine features JSJ in their menu of therapies provided. See video featuring UCSD Integrative Medicine staff. University of Kentucky Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Lexington, KY has begun a JSJ program for addicted infants. Significant changes observed in babies receiving JSJ have resulted in a grant application, currently pending, to NIH.
- Uzi Broshi, DN, for his doctorate dissertation, researched the efficacy of combining Jin Shin Jyutsu with Naprapathic manual therapy, to support vitality and recovery of a patient with severe TBI.
